It has been so long since I posted anything that I'm not sure I remember how to do it!  I've been making tons of cards and donating them to the local infusion center for patients, but I haven't taken any pictures of them....  The bad part is that some of the cards have turned out great but I don't remember what they looked like.  SO, I am going to try to be better about photographing them and uploading them as well as some challenge cards.

This week there are some challenges on the Bugaboo Stamps blog - I love Stella!  Here goes.....let's see if I can remember how to add a photo!

It worked!  This is a wine bottle tag I made for the White Elephant challenge.  I used part of the Stella Christmas Boy List and the sentiment that goes with it.  I don't remember the source of this designer paper, but I love the colors!  Stella's hat has some dazzling diamonds glitter on it, but it doesn't show up very well.

Drapery Fold OH MY GOODNESS!

Well, recently when I was lost in Pinterest-land, I discovered a tutorial for the Drapery Fold.  Oh my goodness - what a great way to use up ugly designer paper that you would never use on any respectable card!  I ended up making three cards with this fold:

Watercoloring and Best Thoughts

The Best Thoughts stamp set is new to me and I am loving getting back to watercoloring with reinkers and an aquapainter.  I'm looking forward to watercoloring this in all sorts of colors!  Oh, and trying to use up some old designer paper.

I used the sentiment from the Best Thoughts stamp set for this card as well.  This image is a digital image that I colored using prismacolor pencils, but don't recall the company.  I removed it from a card that got all tattered in my craft room and created a new card with it.

This last card is using the Bloom With Hope stamp set that my friend forgot at my house!  I'm having a great time with my Spectrum Noir markers - and am getting better at blending each time I use them.  The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning stamp set.

Oh - and I used more old designer paper!

My New Favorite Stamp Set!

I have wanted this stamp set for a very long time, and finally ordered it! It is so versatile! The possibilities with this set are endless!

Stampin' UP! Blushing Bride makes a great spring card and I discovered this washi tape on my stamping table and was SO surprised that it matched so perfectly.

I think my new favorite color just might be Lost Lagoon!  It also makes a great card with this stamp set and I really like the Lost Lagoon washi tape!

The last card is also made with Blushing Bride, but I added just a touch of sunshine in the upper left corner.  These two cards using Blushing Bride look exactly like spring in Washington State!

Wow, this is one neglected blog! I took a break from blogging, but not from making cards. I'm hoping to get back in the habit of posting the cards that I make - and getting back into the groove of Stampin'Up! and being a demo. My new favorite stamp set is Sheltering Tree! I need to take some pictures and I'll upload them later.

EASY Noel Card

Wow - it's been so long since I've uploaded anything I wasn't sure I even remembered how to do it! PSX used to be one of my favorite stamp companies, but they are no longer in business. I've had this stamp for many years, but it wasn't until recently I've been happy with my coloring of it. I have recently gotten all of the Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers and am having SOOOOOO much fun playing with them. I still need lots of practice, but they are pretty easy to blend. I made this card for a gift exchange today. Inside is a decorated coin envelope with a Starbucks gift card inside. I don't often use the mustardy-barf-like color on anything, but I love how these colors look together!

Oh my - I haven't posted since 2011? Wow.....I guess I'd better get busy. It's not that I haven't made anything, I just haven't thought about uploading here. I'm starting to create things for fall craft fairs, so I really do have some things to upload! Hoping to be better about the whole blogging thing!

Altered Composition Books

Well, I found composition books for 25 cents at Walmart and then later at Office Depot.....needless to say I stocked up! So far I have only made one full sized altered book, but I'm loving how it turned out. Hopefully some music lover will fall in love with this one and just HAVE to have it!

I found a DCWV paper stack that is arts-themed - dance, music, theater, etc. I am loving the paper!

The little stamped image is a little $1 stamp I picked up at Michael's last week. I used my Big Shot and Nestibilities to get the cool shape for the stamped image! I'm also using the stamp on some tile coaster sets that I haven't photographed yet. That will be a later post!

One Last Picture - PACKAGING!

Ok, one last picture of these.....It took me about a week to figure out how to package these so they would look cute! Good thing I just happened to have pink and blue bling in my craft room that worked perfectly!

Fingers crossed that people like these since I made 120 of them!

Tooth Fairy Tins

I've been working on making these for fall craft fairs.....I made a lot of them, so I hope they will be really good sellers! It is difficult to see in the picture, but I added Crystal Effects to the tooth to give it an enamel look. I also added Stickles to the wings. The Tooth Fairy stamps sets are from Whimsie Doodles.

The tins are from the wedding section at Michael's.

Cute Little Web Address Book

So, I'm one of those people who just scrawls web addresses, user names, and passwords on whatever piece of paper that's close by. Well.......it's a problem when you can't find that little piece of paper when you need it! I started out with the idea of making these for fall craft shows, but I have to say that I WILL BE KEEPING THIS ONE for myself!

I used the stamp set "Take Note" from Papertrey Ink, and created the alpha letters in Word and punched them out with my label punch. I also did some sponging to keep with the general them of the designer paper. I can't wait to make more of these!

Oh My!

Wow, I can't believe that it has been almost a year since I've posted anything here! It's not that I haven't made any cards......I just haven't posted them here. Well, I'm hoping to get back to the blogging!

I've started working on some items for fall craft fairs, so that seems to be occupying most of my time lately! Hopefully I can get all of the things made that I have in my head!

I just changed the look of my blog.....I think! I'm not very good at the blogging thing, so I'm hoping that the new look stays.

THT066 Cool Things Found!

I've been sorting through all of the stuff in my craft room for the past few days, and I have been amazed at all of the things I've rediscovered! What perfect timing for this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge, which is to create a card using something recycled or reused. I found these little pumpkins already cut out, and this kitty rub-on just begging to be used on a card. The sentiment is from a Treehouse Digital Set called "Halloween Extras." I also used some DP that I've had for years!

Please join us in this week's challenge, which can be found here. You also might want to take a look at what the design team came up with.

THT063, WT284 LET LEONARD IN!

In honor of Ashley's son, Grant turning 1, this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge is an "Under The Sea" theme, which is also the theme for his birthday bash! Well, this little cutie jumped to mind and I started giggling....... The Seattle Aquarium has an ad campaign called, "Let Leonard In." Leonard is a goldfish who wants more than anything to live at the Seattle Aquarium. I thought it was just a radio campaign, but the actual videos are on YouTube! If you want to learn about Leonard's campaign, you can go here:

There are several videos - oh, he just cracks me up!
