THT066 Cool Things Found!
I've been sorting through all of the stuff in my craft room for the past few days, and I have been amazed at all of the things I've rediscovered! What perfect timing for this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge, which is to create a card using something recycled or reused. I found these little pumpkins already cut out, and this kitty rub-on just begging to be used on a card. The sentiment is from a Treehouse Digital Set called "Halloween Extras." I also used some DP that I've had for years!
Please join us in this week's challenge, which can be found here. You also might want to take a look at what the design team came up with.

In honor of Ashley's son, Grant turning 1, this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge is an "Under The Sea" theme, which is also the theme for his birthday bash! THT059 Watercoloring
I have been having so much fun this week doing some of the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges, and even was able to combine one of them with today's Treehouse Thursday Challenge. I typically don't like to combine challenges, because it's a perfect way to build up my card stash making a card for EACH challenge! Today's challenge was to use watercoloring......well, I've been primarily using prismacolor pencils and gamsol for coloring and this was certainly a struggle for me. I ended up using my Stampin Up Markers and a blender pen.

Stamps: Friends & Flowers (Treehouse Stamps)
Ink: None

THT045 Paper Tole - WOW
I made this card for this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge to use the paper tole technique. I don't think I've ever used this technique to this extent before. This card has a total of 4 layers for the sunflowers. I spent more time making this card than any other card I've ever made, but I LOVE the way it turned out. I used the cheaper 120# watercolor paper, and the prismacolor pencils blended amazingly well on it.
Supplies:
Stamps: Ashley's Doodles, Sunflower Bouquet (Treehouse Stamps)

I also don't normally make square cards, this is a 5 X 5 card!

Since I'm not good at typing with one hand, please see my SCS post for card details.
